He will also be greatly missed by the members of Jerry's Smith family which includes mother-in-law Norma Smith, Verda Weston and children Sean and Julianne Weston, Patty and Ronnie Hewitt, Carolyn Smith and children Desiree and Sam Smith, and Tami Smith and children Ric, Michael, and Katrina Smith. ![]() Also left to miss his presence are grandchildren Austin and Denton Morton, and Dylan and Emma Jones. He also leaves behind sisters Pat Cannon of California and Barbara Richmiller and husband Brad of Quincy, IL. ![]() Jerry's memories will be cherished by his wife, Marilyn, his two children: Scott Morton and wife Amber of New Orleans, LA, and Jennifer Pumba and husband Jasper of Mustang, Oklahoma. He enjoyed cooking out for family and the Friday evening trips to Boiling Springs with Marilyn and Norma to watch deer and enjoy the wildlife of the park. Jerry dearly enjoyed spoiling his wife, mother-in-law, other family members, and neighbors with his acts of kindness and service. Always the one to enjoy time with family, Jerry served as the captain of the "party pontoon boat", pulling grandsons, nieces, and nephews around Canton and Ft. His adventures included two trips on his beloved Harley Davidson to Sturgis, South Dakota. Jerry loved motorcycles which started at an early age, first with minibikes, advancing to Spanish racing bikes, dirt tracks, and four wheelers. They made their home in Woodward, OK where they lived a wonderful life until Jerry's passing. They were married on November 7, 2003, at the First Baptist Church in Seiling, OK. In 1998, Jerry met the love of his life, Marilyn Smith. He began a second career with the City of Woodward where he worked until his retirement in 2021. He then moved to Woodward, OK, where he worked in the oilfield service industry for 41 years. From the age of 2 until 20, Jerry lived in Quincy, Illinois, where he attended school.
